Social Lens is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of published scholarly content. All published articles remain permanently available on the journal website. Social Lens ensures the long-term digital archiving of scholarly content, making it available for future use. Accessing articles is simplified as all files are stored in widely supported formats, such as PDF. Metadata for each article is managed according to the Dublin Core standards, ensuring compatibility with retrieval systems.

Self-archiving policies are aligned with the principles of open access. Social Lens encourages authors in self-archiving their research works to enhance compliance with visibility goals and fulfil funder or institutional mandates. Social Lens is dedicated to preserving and maintaining long-term access to all published scholarly content. The journal utilizes recognized digital preservation and archiving mechanisms to ensure the continued availability, integrity, and accessibility of its publications for researchers, institutions, and the broader academic community. The journal is using Zonedo  to support permanent scholarly preservation and content recovery where applicable.

Deposit Policy

Social Lens permits authors to archive and share different versions of their manuscripts, including pre-print versions, accepted manuscripts, and the final published version. Authors may deposit their work on institutional repositories, personal academic websites, university archives, and scholarly platforms immediately after publication. Authors should acknowledge Social Lens as the original source of publication and include an appropriate citation or DOI link to the published article whenever available.
